Every Local Authority in England has a Local Offer. It's information about the support a Local Authority expects to be available to families of children who have SEND and it's usually in the format of a website.  This will include support for children and young people with and without an EHC Plan, across education, health and social care,

The Local Offer should have clear, comprehensive, accessible and up-to-date information about support and services in each county and how to access it.

Southend has a Local Offer website which has information about a wide range of support and services available to families.  It tells you what's out there to support your child and your family, how to access it or how to be referred to it.  It's a good place to start if you need information or want to know what's available in your area.
